If you are even "thinking" about it...you haven't given up!

Have you ever:
-fallen off the wagon?
-strayed from the path?
-lost all motivation to go for your goals?

If you are currently experiencing this, or have in the past, then you need to know,
You are NOT alone!

All of us, and I really do mean all of us, have felt this way at some point. Maybe you are going through a big life transition, maybe you have a lot on your plate right now and it's hard to find balance, maybe you are just plain tired.

Here's what I want you to realize: #1- you need to be kind to yourself. You are HUMAN. You are not a machine. Sometimes you need to take time to slow down and regroup. #2- if you are even still *thinking* about these goals you want to reach (to lose weight, make more money, see more friends, start that business, etc.) than you have NOT GIVEN UP.

I know that might sound strange, and possibly even trite, but it's true. If you are even still entertaining the idea of going after a specific goal, you clearly have not given up. If you had truly given up, you wouldn't even consider going for it. Right? You would have written it off and put it out of your mind.
But- if you still feel that longing inside, if you still try to think of ways to motivate yourself to get on track, if you even consider finding an accountability partner or search for inspiration on Instagram or Facebook, you are still in the game!

I don't want you to stay in the "thinking" state for long...it is very easy to get stuck there! But sometimes it's ok to meditate on and plan for what you want to happen. Allow yourself to get excited about achieving your goals. Remember why you were even thinking about them in the first place. Sometimes taking the pressure off of getting back in the game for a bit and just getting excited and focused on your vision can be all you need to "get back on the wagon." It also helps to tell someone who cares about you, understands you, and is "in your corner" about your goals and your vision; it is likely they will help fuel your fire and get you even more excited about going for it!

You can't bully yourself into making positive change. BE KIND to yourself. If you are allowing your goals to occupy your thoughts at all, you haven't given up. You can choose to take small daily steps. I believe in you, you should too!
